Friction Bolt-39-2000mm
- -Usually combined with domed plates, provides anchoring force for rock strata.
- -Friction Bolt-39-2000mm is roll-formed into a C-shaped bolt with a slot by a high tensile steel band, which one end is tapered for easily inserting the bolt into drilling hole. The other end is welded a ring to hold the bearing plate.
- -Friction Bolt-39-2000mm reference to the AS/NZS1594 / ASTM A1011 standard
- -The Friction Bolt-39-2000mm undergoes very stringent tensile testing to ensure product quality.
Friction Bolt-39-2000mm Functions
Friction Bolt-39-2000mm is a frictional ground support system. When friction bolt is inserted into drilling hole with smaller diameter, the slot partially closes and bolt diameter is compressed, which creates radial forces on rock roof surface along the whole length and firmly holds the rock.

Friction Bolt-39-2000mm How to work
Before installation, assess the ground's characteristics thoroughly.
Select an appropriate drill bit and create a hole based on the friction bolt's diameter and length, as well as the drilling method.
Ensure the hole extends at least 150mm beyond the friction bolt's length.
Attach a plate to the friction bolt, ensuring the dome faces the ring and the tapered end is oriented forwards.
Install the friction bolts so they are perpendicular to the rock surface for maximum stability.
Insert a driver dolly into the bolt and drive the friction bolt into the hole until the plate is snug against the rock.
Avoid striking the friction bolt once the plate is securely attached to the rock to prevent any damage to the end of the bolt.
Conduct pull tests after installation to assess the initial anchorage strength of the friction bolts.
