Friction Bolt-47-1800mm
- -Friction Bolt-47-1800mm(Split sets) is roll-formed into a C-shaped bolt with a slot by a high tensile steel band, which one end is tapered for easily inserting the bolt into drilling hole. The other end is welded a ring to hold the bearing plate.
- -Friction Bolt-47-1800mm reference to the AS/NZS1594 / ASTM A1011 standard.
- -Hot rolled steel reference to the GBT3524-2015 standard.
- -Usually combined with domed plates, provides anchoring force for rock strata.
- -The Friction Bolt-47-1800mm have passed tests in many mines and have been supplied steadily for several years
Friction Bolt-47-1800mm Functions
Friction Bolt-47-1800mm Friction bolt is a frictional ground support system. When friction bolt is inserted into drilling hole with smaller diameter, the slot partially closes and bolt diameter is compressed, which creates radial forces on rock roof surface along the whole length and firmly holds the rock.

How to work
Evaluate the ground's characteristics thoroughly before starting.
Select the appropriate drill bit and create a hole based on the friction bolt's diameter, length, and the specified drilling procedure.
Ensure the hole extends at least 150mm beyond the friction bolt's length.
Attach a plate to the friction bolt, ensuring the dome faces the ring and the tapered end leads.
Install the friction bolts so they are perpendicular to the rock face for maximum stability.
Insert a driver dolly into the bolt and drive the friction bolt into the hole until the plate is snug against the rock.
Refrain from hammering the friction bolt once the plate is securely in place on the rock to prevent damaging the end of the bolt.
After installation, conduct pull tests to assess the initial anchorage effectiveness of the friction bolts.
