Friction Bolt-47-1500mm is a frictional ground support system.When friction bolt is inserted into drilling hole with smaller diameter, the slot partially closes and bolt diameter is compressed, which creates radial forces  on rock roof surface along the whole length and firmly holds the rock.

How to work

        First, assess the ground's condition thoroughly.

        

        Select an appropriate drill bit and create a hole that accommodates the diameter and length of the bolt, following the specified drilling procedure. 

        Ensure the hole extends at least 150mm beyond the friction bolt's length.

        

        Attach a plate to the friction bolt, ensuring the dome faces the ring and the tapered end is at the forefront.

        

        Install the friction bolts so they are perpendicular to the rock surface for maximum stability.

        

        Insert a driver dolly into the bolt and drive the friction bolt into the hole until the plate is snug against the rock surface.

        

        Once the plate is securely attached to the rock, avoid hammering the friction bolt to prevent any damage to the bolt's end.

        

        Finally, conduct pull tests after installation to verify the initial anchorage strength of the friction bolts.
